YES, PRIME MINISTER preferred choice of furniture!
The original television series of "Yes, Prime Minister" was screened by the BBC between 1980 and 1990. A huge critical and popular success, the series received a number of awards, including several BAFTAs and in 2004 were voted in the Britain's Best Sitcom poll. It was the favourite television programme of the then Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Dame Margaret Thatcher. In Singapore, His Excellency, Singapore's 7th President, Dr Tony Tan and his wife, Mary Tan also attended the play.
